Term 1 | Week 10

Principal’s Report

Dear Parents and Families,

We wish Nic every success today as he trials for the Diocesan AFL side in Wagga. We congratulate him on progressing this far through the selection process.

A reminder that our School Cross Country takes place this Friday at the Coolamon Sport & Rec Club. We are looking forward to a cool day for running. A reminder to please make sure to send in the $2 with each student to pay for the bus to and from the Cross Country from school.

Next Tuesday (4/4/23) Stage 2 and 3 will be attending a musical performance in Narrandera called ‘Grunt’. This performance is based on the Easter Story and is a great way to cap off the work we have been doing in RE with our students through Lent in preparation for Easter. More detailed information about this excursion has been sent out separately so please ensure that you have completed permissions and paid for the bus costs for this excursion.

Next week (Week 1 1) is the final week of the school year and is also the final week before Easter. The final day of school next week will be Thursday 6/4/23. On this day we will also be celebrating our Holy Week Mass at 12.15 here in the Church at school. We invite all families to join us and would love to see as many as possible help us celebrate this Mass next week.

Our students will be visiting the Coolamon Library next Wednesday 5/4/23. We thank Helen McLoughlin for inviting us to attend this excursion.

Paul Kelly Cup will also be held next Wednesday 5/4/23 in Wagga. Our boys team is very excited to be participating in this event and we wish them well on this day. We also thank Paul Billingham for volunteering his time to coach this side.
